Urgent requirement: steel fixing chargehand (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Lyon County, Iowa. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements You will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
