You should have: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges You will glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals.
