Join our team: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Gaston County, North Carolina. The job is on a residential construction site. Your main tasks: • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
