Now hiring: earthmoving equipment operator (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Onondaga County, New York. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. You will track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
