Immediate opening: we are hiring a linen room attendant in Houghton County, Michigan. The job is in a hospital housekeeping department. What we are looking for: • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and correct dilution ratios Day to day you will clean and disinfect bathrooms — toilets, basins, showers, mirrors and tiles; sort soiled linen, send it to laundry and count the returns; empty bins, replace liners and segregate the waste; clean public areas — lobbies, corridors, lifts and washrooms; replenish amenities — soap, shampoo, towels, tea/coffee tray and toilet rolls; log lost-and-found items and hand them to the supervisor.
