Vacancy available: production welder (Adamawa State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Song, Adamawa State. You will be based on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Full-time, day shift.
