Health and safety supervisor • Fleming County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Fleming County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
