MIG welder wanted in Koko/Besse Local Government Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Koko/Besse Local Government Area, Kebbi State. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
