Sewing machine operator • Barnwell County, South Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Barnwell County, South Carolina. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
