Great opportunity: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Westchester County, New York. The job is at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Requirements: • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing Rotating shifts.
