Heavy goods vehicle driver • Mason County, West Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Mason County, West Virginia. You will work at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Full-time with occasional weekends.
