GMAW welder wanted in Orleans County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Orleans County, Vermont. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 3+ years on the tools preferred.
