JCB operator • Columbia County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a JCB operator in Columbia County, New York. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings The role involves read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
