What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height.
