Join our team: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Shelby County, Illinois. The job is on a busy domestic building site. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day You will check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer $5,500 per project plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
