Cnc lathe setter — Steuben County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Steuben County, New York. You will be based in a tool room. The role involves set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
