Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steward in Pike County, Illinois. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. On a typical shift you will clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles. What we are looking for: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Rotating shifts.
