Tig welder wanted in Cuyahoga County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Meals and transport allowance provided.
