Wood machinist wanted in City of Bristol

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in City of Bristol, Virginia. The role involves: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
