Argon welder wanted in Fayette County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Fayette County, Iowa. The job is on an industrial construction site. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
