Immediate opening: plastering hand (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Catawba County, North Carolina. You will be based in a refurbishment property. On the job you will handle: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents 6+ years on the tools preferred.
