You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On the job you will handle: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
