Great opportunity: we are hiring a cake decorator in Lane County, Kansas. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to work early-morning and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
