Gas metal arc welder • Canyon County, Idaho

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Canyon County, Idaho. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. You will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
