Argon welder wanted in Hitchcock County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around $260 per day, based on your experience.
