Last-mile delivery rider wanted in Kankakee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a last-mile delivery rider in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will be based at a pharmacy doing home delivery. On a typical shift you will plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation; check tyre pressure, brakes, chain tension and engine oil before riding out; weave through heavy traffic while keeping to delivery time slots; collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end; update the delivery status (picked up, on the way, delivered) on the app in real time; collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts • Physically fit to ride long hours and lift parcels up to 20 kg • Basic reading and number skills to handle addresses and cash Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
