Now hiring: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in El Paso County, Colorado. You will work in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Day-to-day duties: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge Six days a week, one day off.
