Health and safety supervisor — Richland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Richland County, South Carolina. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
