On a typical shift you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
