Immediate opening: cold room technician (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cold room technician in Winkler County, Texas. You will be based in an HVAC service company. On the job you will handle: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
