Gtaw welder wanted in Yellow Medicine County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
