Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns The role involves: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
