Site safety steward — Raleigh County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Raleigh County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy construction site. You will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
