Now hiring: rebar worker (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Jackson County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
