Health and safety supervisor — Lancashire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Lancashire, England. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Day to day you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
