Domestic gas engineer • Caldwell County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Caldwell County, Missouri. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings Day to day you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
