Gtaw welder wanted in Randolph County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Randolph County, North Carolina. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts.
