Immediate opening: MIG/MAG welder (Massachusetts)

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Worcester County, Massachusetts. You will work on a structural steel site. You will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
