Stainless steel welder — Causeway Coast and Glens

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Causeway Coast and Glens, Northern Ireland. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £135 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
