Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
