On a typical shift you will pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly. You should have: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
