Crane operator • Catawba County, North Carolina

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Catawba County, North Carolina. You will be based at a landfill site. Day to day you will keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; check for underground cables and services before digging; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Full-time with occasional weekends. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
