Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Johnson County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
