Urgent requirement: sand plant operator (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Effingham County, Georgia. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Six days a week, one day off.
