Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. You will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; give each garment a final press before packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 1+ years on the tools preferred.
