Production welder wanted in Stoke-on-Trent

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Stoke-on-Trent, England. You will be based at an automobile body shop. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £3,050 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
