Motor grader operator • Saint Joseph County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Saint Joseph County, Michigan. You will work at a landfill site. Your main tasks: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Rotating shifts.
