Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Boone County, Missouri. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
