Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Denbighshire, Wales. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Part-time with flexible hours.
