Vacancy available: gang bricklayer (Pennsylvania)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
